Every year I like to use Christmas as a time to stock up on the more luxurious staples I need for the year to come. I ask for the same things every year: perfume, makeup, a pair of boots, socks (do not underestimate the importance of a girl's sock collection), panties, and art that I've been eyeing and pining over all year long.

I approach my Christmas list as a once-a-year holy grail of the things I want that I believe will, in fact, bring me closer to god. This year, I'm sharing my typical go-to's but I am also adding some absolutely divine new discoveries to the list. Some items are from heavenly, some are from places I personally shop.

MIU MIU

Miutine Eau de Parfum

I first discovered this scent while shopping at Dover Street Market in downtown Los Angeles. I had seen the iconic advertisements and was pleasantly surprised to find Miu Miu now being carried (in its own beautiful, dedicated section) at DSM.

I grabbed the first of three bottles and spritzed it into the air. I couldn’t believe the scent~ it was more perfect than anything I’d ever spritzed. I immediately sprayed it on my arm, as if to say, you’re coming with me now.

The other two bottles were good, but the blue-and-brown one was effervescent. If you could create a scent that is sophisticated, girly, playful, and also deeply possessing mental prowess, Miutine would be the one you’d arrive at.

I’ve been wearing Chloé for over a decade, because nothing else has ever felt so me… until now.
