THE RETURN OF

Mirrored Paillettes

It comes in waves, as all trends do but this one has it's own special place in my heart. The last time mirrored paillettes were our guiding light was the early 2000s. 2000 to 2004 especially but is slowly faded out until around 2007.

CAN'T GET ENOUGH

CLUTTERED UP JEWELS

You've surely seen it in on your feeds, stacking jewelry is becoming THE it girl thing of 2026.

Whether it's framing the entire ear in jewels or cluttering up your fingers with gems, there is no rule for too much.

My personal favorite that I'm bringing back (again the early 2000s are calling me) is stacking big, clunky bangles. Something we all once did with our babydoll tanks and low rise denim-- I'm bring it back but slightly different this time.

DESIGNER VINTAGE

THE ARCHIVAL NOD

We've been on a slow roll to this ones arrival for a while now, but it's on it's way to the mainstream soon enough.

After the fast fashion frenzy of the past two decades, we're beginning to come to our senses and want items of quality once again. We no longer take the materials and craftsmanship for granted like we did in our the glee of our ignorance.

We want to know that when we wear something it's not going to fall apart within weeks. I could write at length about the difference in the design quality in items made today compared to twenty years ago but let's save that for another post.

Even from the high end designers, everyone across the board has made concessions. Whether it's in the design itself (things just aren't as interesting as they once were) or in the way it's made, we are feeling the lack of options deeply in the current market.

Making the throwback archival piece all the more appealing.
